Anyone else found they don't match? Admittedly, mine is close, but still it's 0.5kWh out!
PP had an estimated reading of 34514.5 and Shell rounded it down to 34514. So I'm 8p out of pocket! 😤

This time was spot on, but it's not unusual that when final bills are assessed by the regulators that it can end up with variances. There is a tolerance within the regs. Not sure about the solar process though...Call Ofgem and have some fun. Woz posted about this a couple of years ago.
Re 8p - Guess you could get a free tasting on the next draft Ale before purchasing and factor that in as 8p.

Last switch I had ended with minor variances...

My electricity starting reading was spot on but the gas one was 0.1 higher! I'll be generous and they can have it.

My fractions appeared due to the estimation extrapolation to the end of PP trading. So far I've got the biggest fraction of overpayment. 🤣

I've been quietly amusing myself over the last couple of months on this missing 0.5kWh and today received this message from Shell:
Maybe I should ask for the missing 0.076/2p? You think they'd have rounded up! 🤣

They changed their mind:
Thing is, I imagine that might not work as I've had a bill since then... 🤣 This one might run and run!

Hee hee, I actually went back to them and pointed out that this might not work, as I have already been billed for the opening reading. I checked online and that bill hasn't changed; Chelsie reckons I've got to wait for the next bill. We'll see! 😊

Thought my Samsung ace had stopped working, but it was the virgin sim that needed some tweaks...think because its 3g and Mast maintenance signal updates they get from Vodaphone did something. Anyway it took 4 calls with virgin mobile to get to the bottom of it and the phone was out of action for 5 days. I called my mobile from my landline incurring .91p due to this problem. So I called virgin broadband to get my pennies back without issue. Sadly I'll never get that time back.
The Samsung Ace 2011 3g lives on, will I commit to a refurbed iPhone Mini 12...think it makes sense..
Good luck with your pennies - the community is here to support you.

Good news! My electricity has been re-billed — a credit for all electricity since October. Opening reading increased by 1 whole unit. Re-billed. I'm half a unit up on the deal! Now what to spend the 10p on... 😊
Good luck with your landline charges — maybe that needs its own thread? 🤣
