Queenie has been amazing for 70 years, but I haven't watched any Jubbers Telly yet. Any favourites to recommend a catch up on? π πΈ π π¬π§ πββοΈ πΊπ¦ π πΈ π πΈ π πββοΈ π πΈ π πΈ π π¬π§ πββοΈ πΊπ¦ π πΈ π

Nope in one word, who chose the music event line up...fading pop stars and nothing else that appealed. Guess the best bit was the trooping of the colours and Royals hanging out their washing for all to see. Can't see how things are gonna hold up when the Queen steps aside. Although with all her cred there are some questionable blind spots. At the end of the day I don't want a Republic.
Sorry if I have offended anyone.
Peace

I quite enjoyed the music event. It was an amazing feat of organisation for a large live event, even if the climax was quite faded. The no commentary stuff on iPlayer was nice for the parade through the decades βΒ it was sort of like being there.

Peace In many ways we really are a republic now, the Queen's position being more of a formal one with no input on the running of the country other than the precedent of signing off Acts of Parliament. But it is good for the country we have this position.
